How to make Senna Tea?

It is a useful herbal decoction prepared from the leaves and pods of this plant commonly found in the tropical and temperate regions. Mainly used as a laxative (2), this caffeine-free drink also has other health-supporting benefits.

Arabian physicians first used the herb in the 9th century AD. In traditional European and Arabic medicine, herbal tea was popular for its potential laxative effects. In Egypt, health practitioners used it to treat patients suffering from constipation.

Ingredients 

  • Dried Senna tea leaves powder 1 tbsp.
  • 1-cup of water.
  • 1-tbsp honey or sugar. 

Method

  • Take a stainless steel pot.
  • Keep it on the flame.
  • Add 1 cup of water.
  • Let it boil for 10 minutes.
  • Add 1 tbsp Senna tea leaves powder.
  • Cover the pot for 5 minutes.
  • Remove the cover.
  • Strain the tea into a cup.
  • Add 1 tbsp honey into it.
  • And your tea is ready.

Ingredients

  • 10-15 Senna tea leaves.
  • 60 ml of Coconut water
  • 30 ml of Brandy and 30 ml of whisky.
  • 1-2 teaspoon of honey
  • Include 500 ml of water 
  • 2 ice cubes

Method

  • Take a vessel.
  • Keep it on the flame.
  • Add 500 ml of water and Senna tea leaves
  • Let it boil for 10 minutes.
  • Turn off the flame.
  • Strain the tea.
  • Let it cool. Then re-fridge it for 2 hours.
  • After 2 hours and 2 ice cubes and 30 ml of brandy and whisky.
  • Add 60 ml of Coconut water
  • Drink it sip by sip.
  • Enjoy the tea.
